Are you also curious about the chemex construction method? You're not alone. This handsome coffee allows taste, design and needlework to meet in a perfect combination. Enjoy a really good coffee by following the steps below, one of our favorite recipes:

 

1. Pour hot water over filters and containers. Pour out.

2. Measure out 39 grams of slightly coarser filter-ground coffee.

3. Pour over about 80 grams of 94-96-degree water. Let flower for 30 sec.

4. Turn on additional water so that the total weight is 500 grams.

Let the coffee cool for a few minutes before serving!

Capucholo - coffee drink from Peru

A coffee drink with goodies from Peru - high quality coffee and pisco.  

Ingredients

  • 28 ml  pisco

  • A double espresso

  • Milk foam

 

How to make Capucholo

  1. Pour the piscon into a glass

  2. Pour over espresso and mix

  3. Skim milk until it becomes real  a lot of foam

  4. Place a spoonful of skim milk over the pisco and espresso mixture 

  5. Taste and enjoy!

Espresso with aeropress

- make your own affogato

Have you, just like us, fallen in love with affogato? This dream of espresso and a scoop of ice cream. It does not get much better than that!  But we understand that not everyone has an espresso machine on hand and therefore show how to easily make an espresso with coffee beans from Qvarsebo Kaffe and an aeropress.

 

Ingredients

  • 22 grams of coffee

  • 100 grams of boiled water (88 degrees if it is to be petnoga)

  • Optional glass

 

How to make affogato

  1. Boil 100 grams of water.

  2. Grind 22 grams of coffee beans  fine.

  3. Prepare your aeropress for inverted process, ie up and down. 

  4. Pour the coffee into your aeropress and pour over 50 grams of water. Let bloom for 50 seconds. 

  5. Pour in the rest of the water for 10 seconds.

  6. Stir for 10 seconds.

  7. Put on filters and put the aeropress over a cup. Press for 20 seconds.

  8. Pour over your freshly brewed espresso in a cup with a scoop of ice cream or two.

Finally Christmas. Or almost. Who does not start a little with a good Christmas coffee, or Santa latte, as we call it. It is made from strong coffee and homemade cinnamon syrup.

Ingredients Santa latte

  • Homemade cinnamon syrup

  • Strong coffee

  • Cream to sprinkle on

  • Cardamom to sprinkle over

Ingredients cinnamon syrup

  • 2.5 dl water

  • 2.5 dl brown sugar

  • 1.5 teaspoons cinnamon

  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla powder

 

How to make cinnamon syrup

  1. Mix water, brown sugar and cinnamon in a saucepan over high heat. Whisk until the sugar has completely dissolved and it starts to boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the syrup thickens. It will get thicker when it gets cold.

  2. Remove the pan from the heat and add the vanilla powder. Then pour the syrup into a glass bottle or jar and place in the fridge. It lasts about a month.

 

How to make Santa latte

  1. Brew strong coffee (Preferably a suede or espresso)

  2. Mix with one  tablespoon cinnamon syrup

  3. Heat milk and keep in the cup with coffee and syrup

  4. Whip cream and sprinkle on.

  5. Sprinkle cardamom over the cream.
